What this counts

A plan counts as active when its Status in your file says Active, and as past due when it says Past Due. Givebutter tries a failed charge three times, 48 hours apart, then pauses the plan.
A card runs out at the end of the month in its CC Expiration Date. The month to look up to counts from the newest date in your file, 2 November 2026, not from today.
A year is the plan’s Amount × 12 for a monthly plan, × 4 for a quarterly one and × 1 for a yearly one. Amount is the gift the donor chose, without the fees they cover.
Givebutter already emails donors whose card will run out before their next gift, and Stripe updates many replaced cards by itself, so some of these cards will be renewed before a charge fails.
